Supporting Women & Donating to She Should Run
Each quarter Retort Lingerie donates 1% of sales to an organization that supports women. In Q1 of 2020, we decided to donate to the organization, She Should Run.
She Should Run is a non-profit organization that is also nonpartisan. This organization works to close the dramatic representation gap in politics. The main challenge they are battling against is that women are much less likely to run for office than men. Ultimately, this leads to women being underrepresented in key positions.
In order to combat this challenge, She Should Run works to encourage women to run for office while also helping them reduce barriers to entry.
Donating to this organization helps them support the following programs and events:
- The Incubator
- Virtual Cohorts
- Road to Run
- Ask a Women to Run
- Role Call
- Professional Development Series
